Reports to: Head of Trade Marketing
The Junior Trade Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in advancing Vinimark’ s wine brand portfolio in the market. This position focuses on devising and executing trade marketing strategies, fostering collaboration across functions, and ensuring a consistent brand experience for customers and shoppers. The primary goal is to enhance in-store execution, measure its effectiveness, and elevate Vinimark’ s brand desirability at the point of purchase for revenue and profitability growth within the wine category.
Collaborate with Sales Teams and Brand Partners to create channel-specific Trade Marketing Solutions, fostering consumer engagement, achieving Brand Partner sales goals, and increasing Vinimark’ s overall sales and market share.
Work closely with the Head of Trade Marketing to develop and execute innovative wine category and brand sales trade strategies, enhancing brand presence in the market.Manage the production of marketing materials, ensuring high quality and alignment with execution standards.
Collaborate with graphic designers and external suppliers to craft visually compelling Point of Sale Materials (POSM) that resonate with customers and drive brand engagement at the store level.
Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing decisions and keep Vinimark’ s portfolio ahead of the curve.
Coach sales teams in trade to ensure quality execution of Trade Marketing Promotions and POS.
Support the Head of Trade Marketing with quantitative and qualitative analysis of all promotions to continuously evaluate effectiveness.
Generate in-store execution standards based on shopper insights and best practices.
Act as a liaison between Brand Partners and Sales team.Translate Brand Partners' marketing strategy/trade plans into actionable plans for the sales and merchandising team.
Align all sales and merchandising plans with marketing and trade marketing strategy.
Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 (Essential)
B Com/IMM qualification (Advantageous)
At least two years of experience in Operational Execution and BTL Brand management
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SYSPRO or similar ERP software.
Be in possession of a valid code 08 driver’s license.
Point of sale merchandising support

Understanding the wine industry is advantageous.
