A lot of assumptions are made about the quality of non-alcoholic and de-alcoholised wines. So when Jono le Feuvre sat down with Darling Cellars Head Winemaker, Pieter-Niel Rossouw, and Cape Wine Master and SeniorWinemaker at Spier, Anton Swarts, he was somewhat surprised to hear that they can be site-specific, premium hand-crafted wines.
In this podcast we explore the philosophy of these two winemakers in the production of their health- and palate-friendly offerings. They share information on the viticulture, selection and, of course, the technology that is needed to craft these wines.
